Secret Bio

In 2010 five friends living in Liverpool decided to put their heads together and start playing their mumbled bedroom recordings as a proper band. After several months of slaving away in their rehearsal rooms and a few gigs as the precariously titled He and She (a name change soon followed to Secret Garden Gathering) they perfected six songs that sounded somewhere between the realms of Indie, Folk and Psychedelia (think Jefferson Aeroplane and The National duetting on Fleetwood Mac covers). Following the apparent success of the first toe in the water, several more songs were cobbled together and hasty plan of action drawn up to record some of these musical gems.

2011 arrived and proved to be a bit more of an adventure for our five friends. Several local gigs were played supporting established acts, such as Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Big Deal. In the summer they branched out and hired themselves a knackered old van to brave their first mini tour into the wilds of Scotland and Northern England.

Despite all the shenanigans of the past 24 months they have found the time to assemble a sampler demo in the majestic surroundings of Whitewood Recording studios, Liverpool.
